Welcome to A Place For Standardbreds, located in Ontario amidst beautiful horse country of Bruce County in South Western Ontario. You are invited to come visit our newly updated barns and tour our 74 acre standardbred broodmare breeding and standardbred training farm with our pleasure.
Breeding and Boarding
We are a full service standardbred broodmare breeding farm, offering you an economical choice along with personal care and well maintained facilities. We specialize in your mares reproductive health and artificial insemination with transported cooled semen. Each mare is monitored closely by our Broodmare Manager and our farm veterinarian. Long or short term our mares, foals, weanlings, and yearlings enjoy the lush alfalfa and grass pastures.
Standardbred Training Centre
With 38 stalls and a half mile stonedust track, A Place For Standardbreds offers trainers an excellent facility for training whether you are a large or small stable. We rent stalls by the day so you don't pay for what you don't use. Locally we source shavings in bulk, excellent hay is available, both alfalfa mix or grass, along with all major feed suppliers.
