Broodmares

Breeding is done by an experienced team of professionals and is evident in the results we strive for and achieve. Your mare is our most important consideration.

Each mare is provided with an individualized feeding plan designed to improve and maintain optimum health during breeding, pregnancy, and foaling.

Each mare is managed & inseminated at their most optimal time by cooled semen to any Ontario sire.Our foaling stalls are equipped with cameras and during foaling season each mare is checked several times each night.

Veterinarian

We are fortunate to have a great standardbred breeding veterinarian, Dr. Mary Baks who has many years of experience with standardbreds and just 10 minutes away in the event of an emergency.

Pasture 

Large lush alfalfa and grass pastures await all who board at  A Place For Standardbreds.

Isolation Barn 

Used for horses coming in from other farms or training centres and for sick horses in order to protect those already in residence.
